==========================================================

The Game Competition is organized in conjunction with the ACE 2013 conference:

The ACE2013 Game Competition is an international challenge. It emphasizes the computation aspects of game development, but is not limited to programming. Teams and individuals can submit software products, covering the whole game development process. We invite you to send in projects witch cool technologies, amazing graphics, mindboggling mechanics or page turning stories.

After a careful evaluation carried out by the Program Committee, several finalist teams will be selected who may present and demonstrate their projects during ACE 2013 in Enschede.

==== THE CONFERENCE THEME ====

The theme of ACE 2013 is "Making New Knowledge". We especially welcome novel showcases and interactive art that relate to this year's conference theme, inspired by John Seely Brown's lecture on "tinkering as a mode of knowledge construction", by the fact that making games and toys is often even more fun than playing with them, and by the very hands-on creative approach with which ACE participants have always explored the boundaries of creative technology.

==== Submission rules ====

Anyone can submit to the Game Competition. To present their work at ACE, finalists must complete at least one conference registration before the 26th of september. They can then present and demonstrate their projects during the ACE 2013 conference. Award winners will be selected during the conference by conference participants and a professional jury.
