Hi Sonia,

Thanks for the query. We're going to go with fairly stock definitions here:

The Chair ensures that the Committee and other members functions correctly
and steers the group in terms of vision (although this is a reciprocal
relationship with the rest of the Board). They usually ensure that in board
meetings that there is full participation, that matters are discussed and
that effective decisions are made and implemented.

The Vice Chair ensures that there is effective communication across the
Committee (including the chair) and carries out the Chair's roles in their
absence.

The Secretary usually helps with organisational aspects such as convening
and data management, as well as keeping records of each meeting (they may
take minutes or simply be responsible for them).

The Treasurer is responsible for finances and other monetary requirements.

All committee members are expected to participate in decision making for
the organisation and direct both ways forwards and the central organisation
of the group.

All members are expected to have active participation in board and other
meetings, to participate in decision making and to deal with any issues
that arise within the organisation. Committee members may also have
specialised roles if required - eg. regional advisor, diversity officer
etc.

All members of the board are expected to abide by the Code of Conduct
already outlined by DiGRA, and to carry out any other requirements by
DiGRA, as appropriate.
