And, as Markus has pointed out to me several times, most fields aren't 
as accepting of masters' theses as resources as my own academic 
background is. While I can see the basis for that view, it does dismiss 
several essential works for our young field (such as the theses of 
Brenne and Stenros), and I thus promote a good master's whenever I can.

I agree whole-heartedly. I have a very extensive collection already, 
(many reviews and appraisals included), and would be happy to post that 
somewhere for common use, should we decide to collect such information 
to a single list. Just needs a bit of editing.
