Dear all,

the past weeks a few questions were raised regarding the present and future of DiGRA.nl<http://digra.nl>. You have seen this reflected on this listserv. The current situation is that the Dutch chapter of DiGRA is not very active. We did have a nice Dutch delegation at the international DiGRA conference in Lueneburg, Germany, last Spring. There we raised the idea to become more active and start organizing DiGRA meeting in the Netherlands, a bit like the ones we had in the DiGRA/GATE days. Possibly in collaboration with DiGRA's Flemish chapter (thank you, Jeroen!).
In the recent past Marinka Copier and I have been in charge of the messages on this email list. You have seen a few CfP and other announcements popping up. What you did not see were the loads of spam messages. I function as the gate keeper. The filtering options enable me to delete most of the spam.
Now the focus is on the future. A few people have been in touch with Marinka and me to discuss the options for translating DiGRA’s virtual life into actual meetings. We’ll continue that conversation in January. I will keep you posted.

cheers, jj
